Processing your student loan and confirming full-time status
Documents required
- Certificate of Eligibility: if you have a new student loan.
OR
Confirmation of Enrolment: if you don’t have a new student loan but you are a full-time student. - 2 pieces of government-issued identification: photo ID and a document that includes your name and Social Insurance Number.
Options for submitting documents
- On-campus National Student Loans Service Centre kiosk.
- Regular mail.
- For a new loan only: designated Canada Post Outlets.
You will be asked to present the 2 pieces of identification when you visit a campus kiosk or a designated Canada Post outlet. Send photocopies of your ID if you choose regular mail.
